Pastoral CouncilList Item 1
The Pastoral Staff and Pastoral Council serve the church and community of St. Gabriel. Our Pastoral Staff meets bi-weekly to collaboratively implement the parish mission statement. Our Pastoral Council meets monthly and with the help of various ministries, the council provides a wide range of guidance and activities for the church community. Religious EducationList Item 2
We offer Religious Education for children 1-8th grade for children in public schools. The classes begin at 9:00 AM on Sunday mornings at St. Gabriel School. Contact the Diane Lawrence at dlawrence@sgparish.org for more information.

Young Ladies InstituteList Item 3
The Young Ladies Institute is an organization of Catholic women dedicated to the Christian principals of charity and love through various charitable activities as well as spiritual, cultural and educational events. Contact Nancy Porter at 415-665-1626.

Order of Christian Initiation of Adults (OCIA)
This is a program for adults who are unbaptized or who are baptized but have not yet completed full initiation (i.e. Eucharist and Confirmation) and they seek to be fully received into the Catholic Church. St. Vincent de Paul
This group meets most first Mondays of the month at 7:00 PM in the Parish Center to help those in need through person-to-person involvement of its members in a spirit of justice and charity. Please contact Joe Stark at 415-846-2139 for more information.

Homebound/Elderly Outreach
This committee reaches out to homebound and elderly parishioners who need assistance in a variety of ways including rides to appointments or Mass, grocery shopping, visits, and Communion in their home, etc. Contact the Parish Center for information..

Confirmation
This ministry is a sacramental preparation program for teens and an avenue to provide the young parishioners with spiritual, emotional, and social formation and support. Contact Edgar & Angie Estonina at eestonina@sgparish.org for more information.

Liturgy Committee
This committee plans liturgical celebrations that will promote authentic liturgical and sacramental celebrations among the people of God in the belief that public worship in the parish will integrate, motivate, and renew the community and its members and deepen the faith life of each person.
Subcomittees include: Art and Environment, Eucharistic Ministers, Lectors and Hospitality Ministers

Sodality of Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal
Founded in 1948, The Ladies Sodality is a spirited group of ladies focused on prayerful devotion to Mary, the liturgical needs of the parish, and a prayerful, playful camaraderie. Members attend the 10:00 AM Mass the first Sunday of every month with meetings throughout the year. Spring and Christmas luncheons are joyful, friendly events for all ladies. St. Gabriel Men's Club
The Men’s Club hosts events throughout the school year, including the Father/Daughter Dance, Family Nights, Prime Rib Dinner and The Fr. Tom Hamilton Golf Tournament. All earnings from events support the parish and school. The club is open to all men of the St. Gabriel Parish community and school. For more information, email sgmensclubsf@gmail.com.

CYO Athletics
St. Gabriel CYO Athletics provides families within our parish the opportunity to play youth sports in the SF CYO league for a variety of sports leagues (soccer, basketball, volleyball, cross-country, baseball and Track & Field) for grades 3rd-8th. The program uses Bedford Hall and SF Park and Rec facilities to practice and play games. We also host three fundraising events throughout the year to raise funds for the athletic program. Altar Servers
Altar Servers play an important role in helping our parish celebrate the Mass with reverence and prayer. Open to students in grades 5 through 8, this ministry gives young people the opportunity to serve the altar by preparing the altar and assisting the priest during the liturgy in a meaningful way. It is a rewarding way for young people to deepen their understanding of the Mass, grow in faith, develop responsibility and leadershipe skills and become active participants in the life of our church. Legion of Mary
The object of the Legion of Mary is the sanctification of its members through a life of prayer and apostolic action. Under the banner, guidance and protection of the Blessed Mother, the Legion of Mary works closely with the Church in leading and insppiring everyone to live a life of grace and holiness.
